Effects of Pebble Mine
Dissolved copper is the most significant metal contaminate coming from Pebble Mine. Others include antimony, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, nickel, selenium, and zinc. All of these are bad for salmon!
Metals in water can impair algae
These contaminants are also toxic to aquatic organisms such as macro-invertebrates ------------------>
Juvenile salmon are in danger from the effects of dissolved copper because they're most sensitive to it.
Physiological-functioning of organisms
Sub-lethal- not quite lethal

1. Car Exhaust Grill
This odd invention will actually cook a burger with the exhaust from your car! Simply attach to your exhaust pipe, drive to the store to pick up some chips, open up the grill, and voila! Lunchtime.
2. Doggles
Doggles, or goggles for dogs, are just the cutest most absurd things.
3. Baby Mop invention
This invention is actually pretty practical if you think about it, there are mop tassels added to the legs and arms of a baby onesie.

Sunny Day Near the White House
On the one super-sunny day of our D.C. trip, Annie and I got to see the White House from a distance.
Barack Obama 2013 Inauguration (2termz)
Colton, Annie, and I received gold tickets to the inauguration!
We woke up at 3 a.m. on the twenty first, took the metro, and then walked to get in line for security. (Security opened at 7, but we held our spot in line for about 2 hours!) Once we got through security we were in the gold area.
Then we had to do even more waiting for the inauguration, so we watched the people flood in. Pretty soon the gold area was packed, and everyone was waiting for the inauguration to start.
And finally the inauguration started.

Funniest Restaurant Experience
It was a middle school girl's basketball trip and we were on our way back from Nenana(we got 3rd place in the tourney!). We were all starving after our games, so we dashed into McDonalds (which by the way is my least favorite place) to have dinner.
Our assembly of our sweaty yet hyper team finally ordered and received our meals. I got an order of French Fries and, I was feeling gutsy, a chocolate chip frappè. It turns out the frappè was atrociously gross, and everyone was content with their sodas and cappuccinos. I was just about to throw away the disgusting frappè, when my coach thought up an brilliant plan.
He squeezed a packet of ketchup in the drink, mixed it up, and put another straw in it. Then he went up to Marrin, a crazy hyper girl on the team, and he pretended to drink some of the frappè, and told Marrin it was delicious! Marrin then took a big sip of the drink, and we watched her face turn from bubbly to horrified. She spit out the ketchup infested frappè and screamed. The end.
