Effects of Pebble Mine
Dissolved copper is the most significant metal contaminate coming from Pebble Mine. Others include antimony, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, nickel, selenium, and zinc. All of these are bad for salmon!
Metals in water can impair algae
These contaminants are also toxic to aquatic organisms such as macro-invertebrates ------------------>
Juvenile salmon are in danger from the effects of dissolved copper because they're most sensitive to it.
Physiological-functioning of organisms
Sub-lethal- not quite lethal
Incipient-developing
